De Müller-Thurgau is een witte druivensoort die zijn oorsprong vindt in Zwitserland, waar hij in de 19e eeuw werd ontwikkeld door de wetenschapper Hermann Müller uit het plaatsje Thurgau. Deze druif is een kruising van de karakteristieke Riesling Weiss en de vroegrijpe Madeleine Royale. De Müller-Thurgau heeft door zijn soepele structuur en milde zuren een zachte en toegankelijke smaak, waardoor hij geliefd is bij zowel beginnende als ervaren wijnliefhebbers.
